Father Michael Pfleger asked to be president of St. Leo High School.

The Archdiocese is considering moving Father Michael Pfleger from St. Sabina to Leo High School. Sister Mary Paul McCaughey said Father Pfleger "would bring much to the ministry at Leo High School."

Last night my pastor held a town meeting and met with the parishioners at his South Side church, but he wasn't able to say if he was staying or leaving. Father Pfleger said he will send a letter to the Arch Diocese today stating that he thinks an African-American should become the president of Leo high school, so those young men will be able to have an African-American figure in their lives.
